Story
Welcome to Steel City Smart Homes! Our mission is to bring the transformative power of smart technology to homes, businesses, and beyond throughout the Pittsburgh region.

My journey in the technology and automation space spans over 15 years. It began with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Class of 2008), providing me with a strong foundation in understanding customer needs and market trends.
From 2011 to 2020, I honed my skills at Verizon where I experienced rapid growth, culminating in Senior Management. During my time there, I actively participated in Go-to-Market Strategy teams, selected to exclusive leadership development programs, and spearheaded initiatives designed to empower customers with their in-home technology. This included developing and implementing wireless workshops and interactive customer demos, all aimed at making technology more accessible and user-friendly.

For the past five years, I've been deeply involved in the cutting edge of automation as a Senior Manager/Program Administrator for the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute. In this role, I've been instrumental in growing our national consortium of technology and robotics companies, universities, government partners, and manufacturers, all focused on re-shoring manufacturing to the US through the adoption of robotics and automation. This experience has given me invaluable insights into the potential and practical applications of advanced technology.
